We know plans can change. Here is what you need to know about cancelling an order and how refunds are handled.

Change of mind

The 48-hour / 50% rule is a change-of-mind rule only. It is not a bar on a claim that the flowers were late, not as described, not of acceptable quality, or that delivery was not done with due care and skill.

  • If you cancel more than 48 hours before the delivery time we sold you, and we have not yet made the order, we may charge a 50% administration fee. We will tell you the amount before we process the cancel.
  • If you cancel inside 48 hours of delivery, or after delivery, and there is no quality, description, timing or care problem, we do not have to refund. Any credit is at our discretion.

Eligible change-of-mind refunds go back to the original payment method.

If there is an issue with your flowers

Flowers are perishable, so sending spent stems back is often pointless. That does not stop a replacement, re-delivery or refund. We do not refuse a guarantee claim because flowers cannot be returned in original condition.

Quality, description, late and due-care claims are not cut off by 24 hours or 48 hours. Freshness is assessed over seven days if the flowers were reasonably cared for. Contact us as soon as you reasonably can at service@figandbloom.com or 1300 447 934.

  • Minor failure: we will replace or re-deliver first. If we cannot do that promptly, you may have a refund.
  • Major failure: you choose a replacement or a refund.

If you are entitled to a refund, we refund to the original payment method. Store credit is only if you choose it.

Non-perishable products

Vases, candles and other gifts: if unused, in original packaging and in resalable condition, we offer an exchange if you tell us within 7 days of delivery. That 7-day window is our extra store promise. It does not cap your Australian Consumer Law rights if the item is faulty.

If a non-perishable item is defective, we will replace or refund. You do not need to rely on the 7-day window for a fault.

Where we accept a quality or guarantee claim, collection (if any) is free. If we agree to collect a non-perishable on a change-of-mind, we will tell you any cost first.

Our commitment

If something has not gone right, we will work with you to resolve it, in line with our Refund Policy and Terms of Service.
