How long will my flowers last?Updated 3 months ago

The vase life of flowers varies by variety, but with proper care you can generally expect your arrangement to last around 5–7 days. Some blooms may last longer, while more delicate varieties may naturally fade sooner.

Care tips to help your flowers last

  • Trim stems on an angle (under running water if possible) as soon as you receive your flowers.
  • Use a clean vase filled with fresh, room-temperature water.
  • Refresh the water every two days to prevent bacteria from building up.
  • Keep flowers out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources or air-conditioning.
  • Remove fading stems to keep the arrangement looking fresh.

Our promise

If you’ve cared for your flowers as recommended and they do not last at least five days, let us know within this time by calling 1300 447 934 or emailing [email protected]

We may request photos to help us understand what happened.

In some cases, we’ll arrange to collect the original bouquet when we deliver a replacement.

Why flowers vary

Flowers are a natural, seasonal product. Different varieties have different lifespans, which is why you may see some blooms last longer than others in the same arrangement.
